Preparation & Environment
Sessions are held in a warm, private room on a comfortable Earthlite massage table. To support the flow of the session, full undressing is recommended, though underwear is welcome. You’ll remain fully covered with sheets at all times, with music supporting relaxation.

The Bodywork Process
Sessions are guided moment to moment, allowing trust to build as the body learns to let go without force. By listening to both physical and emotional holding within the fascia and nervous system, the work responds to what is ready to shift — supporting natural release without pushing beyond your capacity.

Pacing & Integration
Please allow up to two hours for your session. This creates space to work at a natural, unhurried pace, with time for conversation and integration as needed. While meaningful shifts can occur in a single session, this work is most effective when approached as a process. A short series of sessions, spaced to allow the body time to adapt, supports deeper integration and more lasting change.

Your body is an incredible, interconnected organism, beautifully woven together and supported by electrically charged connective tissue known as fascia.
This life-giving fabric acts as a cohesive network with its own intelligence, playing a vital role in providing shape, form, alignment, and overall well-being.

Structural Integration is a specialized form of bodywork pioneered by Dr. Ida P. Rolf. This approach is grounded in the belief that the connective tissues, or fascia, are crucial for maintaining the body's structural integrity. When these tissues are healthy and properly aligned, the body moves with grace and fluidity.
However, if they become tight or misaligned, movement can become restricted and discomfort may arise. Structural Integration seeks to alleviate these issues by releasing and realigning the connective tissues, aiming to restore balance and symmetry. This process can enhance movement, alleviate pain, and promote overall well-being.
Structural Integration is a versatile and powerful therapy that can benefit almost anyone, particularly those experiencing pain or physical dysfunction. It is especially effective for individuals with chronic pain, tension headaches, neck and back issues, or other chronic health conditions. The therapy works to restore balance and symmetry, enhance movement, and alleviate discomfort.
Additionally, Structural Integration can be invaluable for those struggling with emotional and psychological challenges. It helps to release deep-seated tension and unburden long-standing emotional pain stored in the body's tissue memory. This makes it an excellent option for people recovering from trauma, PTSD, emotional disturbances, or dealing with stress, phobias, and anxiety.
The therapy is also beneficial for sports professionals, desk workers, and anyone needing to improve joint and soft-tissue mobility.
Sessions are booked as a 2-hour window. The length of a typical structural integration treatment is approximately 60-90 minutes. However, the number of sessions required to achieve results will vary depending on each individual’s specific needs.
The benefits of Structural Integration can be truly transformative. Many people report enhanced energy levels, improved posture, and a deeper connection with their bodies. Additionally, it can provide relief from chronic pain, taruma, tension and headaches. Some individuals also notice improved breathing and better overall circulation. While results can vary from person to person, if you're seeking a holistic approach to boost your well-being, Structural Integration might be just what you need.
Everyone's experience is unique, and what is painful for one person may be different for another. Pain and pleasure exist on a continuum. We work in that poignant space—the hedonic point between pain and pleasure that you can physically and emotionally process in the moment—gently addressing what is stuck by applying just enough pressure for the nervous system and fascia to respond and release, allowing movement to continue along the lines (pictured above).
While some individuals may experience discomfort during their sessions, trust is continuously built as an understanding of the process develops, fostering a sense of confidence and ease to let go. All the clients I've worked with have found the process manageable and deeply relaxing, and I've not had anyone ask me to go softer. Your sense of safety and comfort is my priority, and I actively listen to your body's signals, adjusting as needed to create a safe and supportive environment for healing.
John Benedict is a 61-year-old structural integration therapist with over 40 years of experience in healing therapy. His journey began after sustaining multiple injuries as a Navy deep-sea diver, leading him to seek out therapeutic methods for his own recovery. Under the mentorship of Craig Nelson, Ph.D.—a clinical NMR expert and Olympic athlete—John honed his skills in Structural Integration and sports massage therapy. After graduating from the College of Healing Arts in Santa Monica in 1988, he worked for 30 years with professionals, hollywood stars and Olympic athletes. John now lives in Costa Rica.
Tom Myers, a renowned international educator and author, is the founder of Anatomy Trains, the leading school for Structural Integration, with over 40 years of experience in integrative manual therapy. With a deep background in osteopathy, movement, and bodywork, he developed the Anatomy Trains system, exploring the role of myofascial meridians in movement and posture. He studied with pioneers such as Dr. Ida Rolf and Moshe Feldenkrais, influencing a global community of practitioners in structural integration and movement therapy.
Carol Bittner, my mother, is a trained beauty therapist and massage therapist who has nurtured a passion for health and natural healing from a young age, regularly giving me massages throughout my childhood and understanding the importance and relationship between our food and our wellbeing. Since 2015, she has been dedicated to studying Ortho-Bionomy, a gentle, non-invasive body therapy that supports natural healing and alignment. As an advanced practitioner with 10,000 contact hours, she combines her diverse expertise to help clients reconnect with their bodies' innate ability to heal, creating a holistic approach to wellness and self-care.
Each treatment is available in 60, 90, or 120-minute sessions. While a single session can be profoundly transformative, truly undoing years of trauma and tension requires time and a holistic approach that addresses the entire body. It’s crucial to understand that healing cannot be rushed or forced; bringing the right energy to each session is essential for effective progress.
For optimal results, I recommend a series of 3 to 5+ sessions spaced 3 to 14 days apart, as the benefits build exponentially over time. While completing all ten sessions provides the most comprehensive benefits, committing to a minimum of 3 sessions allows for significant improvements without feeling rushed. Each session is cumulative, so you’ll notice meaningful progress with every visit.
About Callum Fox
Callum Fox, born in Wellington, New Zealand, began playing the piano at age two and was awarded Most Promising Pianist Under 19 at age seven. A former Australian military officer, Callum is also a multi-national-level athlete in duathlon, cross country, road cycling, XC, and downhill mountain biking. He rowed at an A level in college and was a CrossFit Instructor at the Australian Defence Force Academy during his studies in Canberra, reflecting his lifelong commitment to sports and performance.
In January 2025, Callum was involved in a serious cycling accident that left him with multiple fractures — including 11 vertebrae, 10 ribs, both collarbones, both scapulae and a collapsed left lung. He chose to forgo surgery and embarked on an intensive self-healing journey. Through disciplined rehabilitation, somatic practice, and mind-body integration, he experienced what many described as a miraculous full recovery — running a pain-free 3 km only nine weeks after the accident.
This experience deepened his devotion to the healing path he had already been walking for years. Inspired early by his mother, a bodyworker, Callum had long turned to alternative methods of recovery and self-mastery. Post-military, he became an advanced student of Dr. Joe Dispenza’s quantum healing work and undertook extensive training in Structural Integration with masters John Benedict in Costa Rica and Tom Myers of Anatomy Trains in the USA. He further honed his practice during four years in Costa Rica, running a private practice from his home and working at HOLOS, a luxury retreat center in the Diamante Valley.
Now based in West Hindmarsh, Adelaide, Callum integrates this unique combination of experience — discipline, athletic performance, lived healing, and deep somatic training — to guide clients in aligning mind, body, and soul on their own healing journeys.
